BOUDOIR    REVIVAL

An homage to the extravagant intimacy of French aristocratic salons.

Diane’s Boudoir was created for the 16th Edition of ASVOFF (A Shaded View on Fashion Film), presented at Dover Street Market Paris, November 7–10, 2024. The installation was designed to showcase the festival’s capsule merch.

Commissioned by Diane Pernet, it reimagines the boudoir as a foldable, multifunctional screen — at once salon, vanity, wardrobe, and time capsule. Constructed from repurposed plywood, tapestry foam, and exposed metal hardware forming a reinvented capitonné, along with street-salvaged furniture coated in paper pulp made from recycled cardboard, the installation transforms reclaimed materials into exaggerated, organic forms.

The result is a bold, theatrical structure that merges history, humor, and avant-garde design.
